Deer lease

So this past weekend we went to Troy's deer lease up in Lampassas. At first, I only went to spend time with Troy, because the thought of having to fix the feeders and clear the land around them in 100+ temperatures wasn't exactly my idea of the best time.

I have to say though, it was one of the best weekends so far this summer! It was myself, Troy, Chad, Troy's dad, brother Mario and one of Mario's friends Mary. We had a blast. After cleaning the feeders out, we went swimming in the river adjacent to the property.



We also took Wrangler with us and he finally got in the water! Turns out he loves to play fetch in the water as much as he likes it in the back yard. It took him a while, but once he got in, he'd swim wherever we were. I think we may actually go again this upcoming weekend and on labor day weekend as well. Everyone is welcome to join us!
